Configuring the PhonerLite Softphone
Download the softphone from here:
https://www.buzzbox.cc/media/files/phoner.zip
Once installed follow the PDF guide as required, but in essence:
* Install and start the PhonerLite application. You will see a wizard window appear.
* In the proxy/registrar box you will enter EITHER sip2.buzzbox.cc if you are on a single line plan (Bronze/Silver/Gold) - OR you will enter the web address as supplied by your buzzbox support agent - it is the same web address you would use to access your buzzbox dashboard and looks something like companyname.buzzbox.cc
* In the Username AND Authentication Name box, EITHER enter the phone number for your account starting 44 and drop the leading zero for single line products eg. 441234567890 - OR enter an extension number that is available in your buzzbox dashboard. eg 6001. NOTE: Do not use an extension in use elsewhere otherwise the phones will not be able to reliably receive calls.
* In the password box, enter the password given to you by your buzzbox support agent.
* TAKE CARE when copying and pasting that you do not include trailing or leading spaces.
* If completed successfully, you'll see a green dot in the status bar of the PhonerLite window. If you see 403 or 404 errors, then you have most probably mis-typed some of the details.Check for leading and trailing spaces.
STARTING THE APPLICATION WHEN YOUR COMPUTER STARTS

TO TRANSFER A CALL
* While you are on a call to someone, if you wish to transfer that call to someone else, then type the third party's phone number. When they answer you drag and drop the call on the call list onto that of the original caller. The call will then hangup on you but be transferred to the third party.
TO CREATE A CONFERENCE CALL
* Make the first call as normal.
* Now press the conference icon at the top (looks like two little people) and dial the second number. They will be added to the conference.
* You can repeat this process as necessary. Note, that there will be a maximum number of calls you can make at once dependent on your buzzbox plan.
