Setting an out of office message or temporary greeting
To record a temporary greeting for example, when you are out of the office for the day or the office is on holiday, follow these steps:
From the handset that receives voicemail for the main line number (or the phone number for which you wish this temporary message to be enabled for) dial 97 and log in with the voicemail password (default: 123).
* Press option 0 for mailbox options
* Press option 4 to record a temporary greeting
* Follow the prompts to record and accept the temporary greeting. Once done, this is now set so when calls come in, they will hear this message instead of the standard voicemail recording that you use.
Naturally when everyone is back at their desks, you'll want to disable this, so follow the exact same steps above, except this time when you select option 4 you will be asked if you wish to remove the temporary greeting. If so, press option 2 to remove it.
The temporary greeting has to be re-recorded once it is turned off. There is no way of saving the message.
