Set up Click to Dial from Outlook and other applications

To enable click to dial (click to call) from inside Windows applications, install the following application:

http://www.buzzbox.cc/activa.zip

or

http://www.buzzbox.cc/activa64.zip

for 64 bit systems.

Once installed complete the fields as follows:

* Line DN: ''SIP/6001'' - replace 6001 with your buzzbox telephone extension

* Line prefix: (leave blank)

* Caller ID Name: Enter something useful, eg. ''Dialler'' or leave blank

* Orig. Variable: (leave blank)

* Context: Set both options to ''from-internal''

* Host IP: Enter the IP address of your buzzbox, commonly ''192.168.1.201''

* Port: ''5038''

* User: ''outcall''

* Password: ''buzzb0x''

* Enabled MD5 authtype: ticked

Now reboot your computer if asked.

When you first start up your TAPI aware software (eg Outlook or Sage), you'll be able to dial your contact by selecting the relevant 'Dial' option in your software. However, you'll need to ensure that the Activa TSP device is selected as the default dialing device. To do this, when you start to dial the contact, a small window will appear called 'New Call'. Press the 'Dialing Options' button, then select the ''SIP/6001'' device from the drop down list. (6001 will be your actual buzzbox telephone extension)
