Getting Screen Pops for Inbound Calls

Screen pops are popups that appear in the lower right corner of your PC screen when a call comes in. It will show you the caller ID of the caller, plus their company and contact name if you have stored their details in the buzzbox Global Phonebook. You can also copy and paste numbers from webpages into the text box that sits in the lower right of your screen to dial numbers quickly.

Firstly, download the buzzPop app at:

and install the program with defaults. Now configure the application:

* right click on the small coloured circular icon in the lower right of your screen and select 'Settings'

* under the 'Account' menu option, select the 'Server' tab. In the server text box, type the IP address of your buzzbox, eg. 192.168.1.201 (or cloud customers use the address in your welcome email eg. yourname.buzzbox.cc)

* In the credentials box, Username is: outcall and the password will be supplied by the buzzbox support team - please call/email us for the password

* select the 'Extension' tab and type your extension number prefixed with SIP/. eg. SIP/6001

* select the 'Dial Transform' tab and press the 'Load example template' wizard icon. Replace all instances of 31 with 44 so as to match UK numbers that are copy/pasted into the buzzPop text box when quick dialling. However, you may wish to add more search and replace transformations for any other additional countries you may be calling regularly.

* under 'General Appearance Settings' tick the 'Show bPop always on top' option
