Once paired, you will need to find the IP address of the base unit to enable you to log in.

* To find your IP address from the Gigaset E49H handset go to the menu (press the right arrow key on the square silver function button just below the screen), then scroll down to:

Select ‘settings’

Select ‘base’

Select ‘local network’

You should then see the IP address which will be something like 192.168.0.5

* From the C610 handsets you will need to press the right side of the silver square (below the screen) this takes you into the Settings menu - next you will need to:

Select the spanner icon

Scroll down to 'System'

Scroll down to 'Local Network' here you will see your IP Address.

* From the A510 handsets you will need to press the Menu option, then:

Select Settings

Select System

Select Local Network

Select IP Address

* Enter this IP address into a web browser and this should display a screen saying ‘Gigaset N300 IP’. The default password is 0000. Now click on the 'Settings' tab then Telephony > Connections.

Firstly, if you see an entry called Gigaset.net with a tickbox next to enabled, UNTICK the tickbox.

Now click Edit next to IP1.

Now configure as per the screen shots below (if you are on a multi line system, '''be sure to replace sip2.buzzbox.cc with the address supplied in your welcome email'''. Replace the 'authentication name' and 'username' with the extension number you created in your buzzbox dashboard (eg 6001) and the 'password' is the password for that extension):

Ensure that authentication name and username are the phone number you have been assigned by your buzzbox support agent.

Ensure the password is the same as supplied by your buzzbox support agent.

Now configure the screen on the Number Assignment tab.

* Finally click the 'Set' button and you are ready to start using your phone.
